A straight explanation of what avilevi.co.il collects, why, for how long, and who it goes to. The interactive tools store what you enter — including partial, unfinished entries — so we want you to know exactly what happens.
The site runs Google Analytics 4, Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Microsoft Clarity. They collect anonymous navigation data: which pages were viewed, traffic source, device type, and load times. GA4 uses cookies (`_ga`).
No identifying information is sent to analytics — no name, no email, and none of the text you type. Microsoft Clarity records "session recordings" (mouse movement and scrolling) and heatmaps to improve the experience.
When you send the contact form, your name, email, and message are emailed to me via Resend. They are not stored in any database — they live only in my inbox, and I reply directly to the address you sent.
There are two independent preferences: “From idea to method” (a three-email mini-course followed by an update about once a month) and an alert for every new issue of “The Signal”. Signing up immediately activates the selected path without another confirmation request. Joining one does not add the other, and either preference can be turned off independently.
Neon is the source of truth and stores the email address, preference paths, signup source and language, consent version, course progress, and delivery events. Resend keeps a matching Contact and sends course lessons, updates, the comic thank-you email, and issue alerts. A signed webhook updates delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, and complaints idempotently.
The tools on the site (LearnOps Radar and Skill Builder) behave in a way worth knowing: what you enter is stored for research and to improve the tool — including partial entries, even if you never finish or press submit. Saving happens as you move between steps.
Recommendation: do not enter personally identifying information, business secrets, customer details, or classified content into the tools. They are meant for a general description of your context, not sensitive data.
Data is shared with the following providers, each for its stated purpose:
GA4 and Clarity set cookies. The site also keeps small preferences in your browser (localStorage) — such as article feedback and your last visit time for showing new content — which stays on your device and is not sent to a server.
You can change either email preference independently using the preference link in every email footer. For a full unsubscribe, deletion request, or privacy question, reach out via the contact form. Tool data is auto-deleted after 90 days regardless.
